FOHRR Children’s Easter Egg Hunt

Our hope is, that we can hold a Families’ Easter Egg Hunt, on the Recreation Ground, on or around the Easter weekend, and most probably Saturday 19^th April.

For the sake of planning and safety – and ensuring sufficient supply of Easter Eggs, we propose to send out an invitation, and therefore have a list of all families attending.  The event is in the early stages of planning, and we are currently working with the City Council, who’s permission, as owners of the ground, will be needed.  There will no doubt be certain conditions, and health and safety considerations, so much will depend on whether we can comply with those.

Anyone prepared to offer a little help, or even a small donation toward the purchase of eggs, would be most welcome

Picnic in the Park
Saturday 30th August 2025
1pm to 4pm

All are welcome to join us and enjoy a “Picnic in the Park” as we near the end of the summer.

Bring your own picnic and enjoy ice creams from a local supplier who will be on-site all afternoon.

There will also be opportunities to explore the park

And its rich environment, and to take part in a variety of fun activities.

We are also open to new ideas as to what you would like to see and experience in the park.
