FOHRR Children’s Easter Egg Hunt

Our hope is, that we can hold a Families’ Easter Egg Hunt, on the Recreation Ground, on or around the Easter weekend, and most probably Saturday 19^th April.

For the sake of planning and safety – and ensuring sufficient supply of Easter Eggs, we propose to send out an invitation, and therefore have a list of all families attending.  The event is in the early stages of planning, and we are currently working with the City Council, who’s permission, as owners of the ground, will be needed.  There will no doubt be certain conditions, and health and safety considerations, so much will depend on whether we can comply with those.

Anyone prepared to offer a little help, or even a small donation toward the purchase of eggs, would be most welcome

Summer Party in the Park

We are hoping to have a summer ‘Party in the Park’ this year, with a date to be confirmed but likely to be at the end of August.

More news to come, but we hope it will be based around a  family picnic, with a bouncy castle, children’s games and entertainment, and a fancy dress show, for parents and child, and some fun events such as a 3 legged race for mums and dads.  More details to follow.
